YOUTH DEPARTMENT

Welcome to the Shaarei Tefillah Youth Department!

Shaarei Tefillah is very proud to have a thriving and vibrant Youth Department.  We strive to provide an educational environment that is fun, engaging, and safe for the whole family.

Whether at regular Shabbat programs or special family based events, such as Chanukah Bingo and themed Peurim Seudahs, your kids will find their place at STC!

Check out some of our programs below!

There are so many reasons to join our family and take pride in what WE do!

UPCOMING YOUTH PROGRAMS

BOYS TO MEN & BEYOND BAT MITZVAH

Our Boys to Men and Beyond Bat Mitzvah programs are yearly pre–Bar and Bat Mitzvah journeys designed to guide our youth through one of the most meaningful milestones in Jewish life.

Led by our Rabbi and Rebbetzin respectively, these programs go beyond technical preparation to focus on personal development, Jewish identity, values, and confidence. Through thoughtful discussion, mentorship, and age-appropriate learning, participants are encouraged to reflect on responsibility, character, and what it truly means to step into Jewish adulthood.

Each program provides a supportive and engaging space where students can ask questions, build self-awareness, and form a deeper connection to their Judaism—preparing them not only for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah day, but for the years that follow.

These programs run annually and are a cornerstone of our community’s commitment to nurturing strong, thoughtful, and grounded young Jewish leaders.
