LIA BURGER

Lia Burger began working at Shaarei Tefillah as an STC Youth Leader in 2021. In 2024 she took on the role of Assistant Youth Director and in 2025 became STC’s Youth Director, overseeing the weekly Shabbat and high holy day programming for nursery and school age children in our community. Lia has certifications in child and standard first aid, babysitting, as well as leadership and swim instruction. Lia also holds a madricha role at CHAT and is a provincial level trampoline athlete having represented Ontario twice at the Eastern Canadian Championships. Lia’s journey to Poland last summer in addition to her work at Jewish summer camp, further soldified Lia’s love for Yiddishkeit and Jewish experiential learning.
