Here are just a few ways to get involved in our thriving youth department and in the lives and development of our youth.
Any and all money raised goes to programming, supplies and events throughout the year!
1. Sponsor A Siddur
An integral part of the Shabbat youth groups, is the time we spend praying.
The children love to have tefillah time because our leaders make it fun and interactive using our fun tefillah boards, and because we use
the beautiful children's artscroll siddurs filled with colorful pictures and lots of explanations.
You can purchase one to donate to our youth department in dedication to your children, making tefillah that much more fun and personal for them!
Sponsor 1 Siddur for $30, 2 for $55, 3 for $70 or 4 for $80
2. Birthday Shabbatot
The last Shabbat of each month, the Youth Department will have a group celebration for the birthday boys and girls of that month.
The celebration will include a special Kiddush, and each birthday boy or girl will choose a present from “the birthday bin”.
Each birthday boy or girl will be named in a special corner of the parsha sheet and will also be called to the bima for a Mazal Tov and a blessing from the Rabbi. Of course, the congregation will all sing “Simun Tov” to the birthday kids.
Parents are welcome to sponsor their child for $18 to enhance our birthday Kiddush celebration with the Youth Department.
