STC Minyan Attendance

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY :  DISCLAIMER - EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY 

NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDEES AND USERS OF STC PRAYER SERVICES AND FACILITIES 

As a condition of attending STC  and as a condition of using its facilities, you assume all risk of being in a public place during the COVID 19 pandemic. By attending STC and by using its facilities, you agree that Shaarei Tefillah Congregation and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors and representatives shall not be liable and are not liable for any illness that may be attributed or that could be attributed from your attendance at and from your use of the facilities of Shaarei Tefillah Congregation and that you waive all claims with respect thereto. You further agree that these conditions and agreements shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and no other jurisdiction. 


 
  1. At present, attendance is only admitted by pre-registration.  Those who have not registered ahead of time are unfortunately unable to join services at this time. 
  2. All attendees must wear a mask at all times. 
  3. Upon entering the building, attendees should use hand sanitizer and try to avoid touching your face and mask. If your mask needs to be adjusted, please use hand sanitizer after touching your face/mask. You may want to bring your own small bottle of hand sanitizer with you.  
  4. The only area of the shul currently open is the sanctuary and the social hall for services.  All other areas are currently closed to public traffic.  While in either location, please do not be walking around; remain in your seat.
  5. Members of a single family household are asked to sit together. 
  6. Attendance at the present time is restricted to children that are mature enough to sit with their parent the entire time.  
  7. Anyone who is over the age of 65, immunocompromised or has another condition which increases the risk of severe illness with COVID-19 is strongly urged to continue to daven at home and to consult with your physician to determine whether it is a good idea to join a minyan. 
  8. We encourage all attendees to bring their own siddur, chumash and tallis.  If you do not have a siddur or chumash, please place the ones you used in the location indicated. 
  9. A cleaning plan for high-touch areas is in place. 
  10. No congregating before or after services 
  11. All attendees must maintain social distancing (2 meters) while on premises and when entering/exiting the building 
  12. Individuals who receive aliyahs must maintain social distancing and can make their brachos from 6 feet away. 
  13. Avoid all physical contact with fellow congregants. 
  14. No touching or kissing of mezuzos or Torahs. 


Please complete the below registration in order to be able to attend an minyanim at STC.

Please note a separate form MUST be submitted for each person planning to attend.

1. I am above bar/bat mitzvah age 
2. I agree to wear a mask or face shield at all times while in the shul 
3. Do you confirm that in the past 14 days, you have NOT had a fever, new cough, runny nose (different from seasonal allergies) or sore throat
4. Do you confirm that you are not currently under a quarantine order or isolate-at-home directive?
5. I have not traveled or been around anyone who traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days
Under the current circumstances, you are not yet eligible to attend an in-person minyan at STC.
